"My wife booked the company for airport transfers from Havant to Gatwick (and return). We'd previously used Sunny Travel who have since been purchased by Alpha. I've since also been told that Alpha has taken on AJ Travel's business as well. We were a group of 6 and had booked for the 8 seater. A few days before, my wife was contacted to advise that the 8 seater was off the road due to servicing/maintenance delays at the garage but that they would send 2 separate vehicles to collect the 6 of us at no additional cost. This was followed up by a text with payment instructions (we were paying cash). 2 x Skoda Superb estates promptly arrived and got us to Gatwick with additional time to spare due to the reported "chaos" at security. Pleasant drivers. Clean and spacious vehicles. Cracking service. We had an overnight flight returning to the UK which meant clearing customs and baggage at about 5am. My wife received a text the previous evening detailing the name of the driver and registration number of the vehicle. As we cleared customs, a further confirmation text was received, advising that we would again be getting 2 cars at no additional cost and a precise location of where we would meet the drivers in arrivals. This time, one of the drivers was the business owner who explained that the 8 seater was still awaiting parts that were delayed due to supply chain issues. The 8 seater not being available meant a ride in a plush Mercedes E - Class. On the outward and return journeys, drivers were courteous and friendly. Driving standards were high. Would I use Alpha Cars again? Absolutely. Thank you for taking the stress out of getting to the airport and getting back home."
