"I had an electrical fault with my S-Max which meant the car wouldn't start (although the call out engineer put in a direct link from starter motor to battery to get me going). Once it was running it affected random electronics including the blower (vital for defrosting the car in this weather). The car was almost unusable, considering the conditions, and had spent almost two days with Mr Clutch in Slough, next to my work. They hadn't worked the issue out and in the end they gave up!! I found AC Mechanical through a google search. The reviews were really good so I took a risk, he's not the cheapest, but I'm so glad I did. Alan found and resolved the fault pretty quickly, in the first morning of having the car, which after my Mr Clutch experience was positively surprising. As my car was due it's MOT within the month I then asked for that to be carried out and he managed to squeeze the car in that afternoon. All in all I have been really happy with the service I received and I will definitely go to Alan again if necessary. He's obviously an excellent trouble shooter. I'd highly recommend him."
