"Booked my slot only 24hrs before, was great to see availability so short notice. The MOT was thorough as needed but also not too long, and I was able to sit and wait. Very interesting to watch! Unfortunately my car failed, but the MOTest center was able to order the parts and complete the work the next day, and then do a (free) retest which made it pass. Was brilliant to get the car sorted within 48 hours. Service was friendly and efficient, 10/10 would recommend."
"I’ve used MOTEST Reading for MOTs for quite a few years with no issues…except for today. This year my car failed because of a missing wheel nut. Fair enough. I obtained and had fitted a new wheel nut and took it back for a retest only to be told I had to wait three days. Not acceptable for a job that would have taken less than 5 mins."

"Having been a customer for, I estimate, about 20 years, I used to really support this company. Today, my husband and I left his car for an MoT and service. After three hours, we phoned to request information on progress. The response was that they had done NOTHING. Apparently, the steering wheel was described as “mouldy”. They lied, and said they had left a message (which they categorically had not done). No missed calls, no text messages. On return, we looked very carefully at the steering wheel. Whilst it is worn, I can confirm, (and will do in court) that the steering wheel is worn through, exposing the under-padding (which is white), but not mouldy. How dare you judge us like this. Your discriminatory behaviour is reprehensible, and you have lost at least four future customers. I would appreciate a full and detailed response. You know who we are."
"I have previously been a fan of motest reading and have recommended them to others. I won't be in future. I took my car in for mot today, it was mot'd there last year. They called to say it is too low for the ramps as the ramps have changed. When I picked it up it was parked facing the wall. When I got it home, noticed this. I'm aware it's a low car and accidents happen, even a scuff I don't mind, but I'd have expected someone to own up about this. Very poor service."
