"You have to see what I’m going say to believe it. My mother has been in a right mess since dealing with these for the last few months. Ordered a full furniture set which came with a split table.. ok no problem, although it’s oak!! So they finally arrange come fetch the following week.. so here comes the second table!! Yes it was split in 3 places… oak remember!! So she goes to the shop and speaks to the manager who was fine and dandy and apologised and promised that the next time he will personally check the item before comes to her house..so another couple of weeks go by and here comes the 3rd table!! And yes u guessed it, 32 inch split down the middle..now this was control checked and still got here split so rang back up again and they are saying it’s because it’s from Vietnam. And let me tell you this now, half of the wood isn’t oak. The top panels are flimsy what I can only say is thin tong and grove. I have videos of it and believe me you wouldn’t believe it. So now we’re going for a fourth resolution. Since this my mum has had a break down over it as she’s lost out on 100s of pounds and constantly been let down and people bringing broken expensive “oak” furniture to her Appartement which is left there for her to struggle open as she’s disabled. This is now going be a court issue as they can’t find a resolution and it’s disgraceful what they’ve done. So all your furniture is now from Vietnam what oak furniture world sell. Be aware of this company if you wish to see pictures and videos don’t hesitate get in touch to back my words up"

"Wrong sofa delivered twice, had to take unpaid days off work to make sure I was in because ‘they don’t deliver on Saturdays’ got left a message saying I’d have to wait another week for the correct sofa because of their ignorance, again. I won’t be buying from here again, that is if I don’t return and cancel my current order. Shoddy experience and a disappointment"

"I wouldn’t recommend buying furniture from Stoke on Trent branch. Salesman was excellent very down to earth and welcoming. We paid extra for flexible delivery. I appreciate problems in getting furniture from abroad to England if we had known it was coming from abroad we wouldn’t of purchased for this reason! I Booked an annual leave day off (I’m a nurse so time off is precious) only to receive an email one week before to say furniture won’t be here on time. I clicked on to the booking date to arrange another date only to be shown we can pay another £30 REALLY????? To upgrade to get it in April if not our already upgrade does not have a delivery date. It’s taken an angry call to customer service desk to ask why when we paid an upgrade to flexible delivery could we not get an April date to actually get one. Unless you want to wait 6 months + delivery steer clear of any purchase. Stoke on Trent store need to be clearer on their selling techniques and information being given out at point of sale!"

"Staff helpful provided great assistance. However not 5 stars as failed to deliver leather suite on date promised, leaving us stuck over Xmas. However this was an issue for most of the main suppliers, so not entirely the fault of Oak Furniture Land. Did offer small refund for inconvenience. Will update review when leather suite has proven to be robust."
