"Do not think this shop has changed in years the staff are always pleasant and helpful they have a great knowledge of what they sell if you are not sure of what you need they will steer you in the right direction. I remember it being there when I was a child so they must be doing something right."
"Can’t speak highly enough of this place. Went in search of a hinge for an old upvc door. The gentleman searched suppliers etc and got me one within a few days. Unfortunately this was slightly the wrong dimension. When I took it back he spent at least half an hour trying to find a correct fit. In the end it was not possible. However this is not the point. The point is the great service provided and the effort that was made to help me. Wouldn’t get that in any diy chain. Will always come back here. Many thanks."
"Philpotts is a handy store but I particularly like the fact that they sell used office desks / chairs etc and they deliver for a small price. It’s a timber yard also and they sell hardware."
