"It could easily be one of the very best home away from home near to Dublin city and the airport. Very comfortable house, Very beautiful big environment outside. Beautiful scenary. Its a perfect place to simply get away, reflect about life. Private. Homely. Picturesque. Retreat-kind of thing. Very good to bring the entire family or friends to stay with. Reasonable pricing. The hosts are very easy to communicate with. Brian is a great host; friendly and easy to communicate with. Second time i am staying here with my family in a 2-bed and will definitely be back."

"My family and I were looking for a safe, clean and peaceful place to stay and Alensgrove was the perfect fit. These factors were especially important to us, as we just welcomed our newborn into the world a few weeks prior and had unfortunately been displaced from our home in Dublin while emergency repairs were ongoing. Brian and his team were incredibly accommodating and kind and even helped us move to different units on site (we had to extend our stay while waiting for our home to be ready which could have been much more stressful had the team not been so responsive). The grounds are lovely and well maintained, and the units are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We definitely intend to return in the summer as there is a lovely outdoor area for walks, pizza oven and bbq along with some friendly animals on site. My husband also loved the gym! "We spent a few months in Alensgrove while our house in Leixlip was undergoing structural repairs. It is a truly idyllic and friendly place to stay. Our cottage was very comfortable. The few problems that did arise were sorted out very promptly. If you like a lakeside setting in a safe and secure environment, with lots of friendly animals and birds (hens, guinea fowl, emus, donkeys, alpacas, pigs, a reindeer, and many others) nearby to say hello to and feed, this is the place to stay. Add the following: a well equipped gym, a giant chess board, a fabulous bar-be-que area, and many other nice features. Alensgrove is an ideal base for exploring counties Dublin and Kildare with plenty of secure parking inside. Also there are lots of local bus and train connections to Dublin and other parts of Ireland nearby. My sincere thanks to Brian and his team. I am sure we will, sometime in the future, find an excuse to return to Alensgrove for another stay. I can completely recommend it to anybody."

"Very lovely place! We were looking for a place to stay to break our trip from Cork to Belfast and this place was amazing! It was very homey, had everything we need from the towels to kitchen stuff, location is not too far from Dublin as well. We also had a very lovely evening walk on the area as it was near River Liffey, met an alpaca too! Very serene and quiet, the place itself is already part of our weekend itinerary."
