"Arrived at Seamount bed and breakfast at the time arranged with Elaine to be greeted by elaine and the smell of dog only for her to tell me my room wasn't quiet ready so had to wait for it to be finished apparently the cleaner hadn't turned up on the day I was due to arrive. I Wasn't impressed that had to pay upfront and doesn't accept payment by either debit or credit cards i understand why now cause otherwise people would do a charge back and leave this dirty place even though Elaine hadn't actually told me this at the time of booking Elaine had stated she wasn't doing breakfast due to the pandemic but on reading other reviews she had done breakfast for a father and daughter a few months prior in the height of the pandemic. Elaine left me a note in my room telling me off like a child cause I hadn't closed the window when I went out no i didn't cause the room needed a good airing . My room wasn't cleaned all week I certainly wouldn't return to this bed and breakfast my bathroom had damp and had a very strong smell of stale urine and the whole place is dirty and run down. Elaine also told me her cleaner would be coming at 11am on the day I was checking out so I would have to check out earlier when she knew my flight wasn't intil after 4pm ! The whole place could do with a good deep clean my room was thick with dust,dirt,debris from previous people all over had I not already paid upfront I wouldn't have stayed but obviously due to already paying I knew I wouldn't get my money back from Elaine all I can say is AVOID at all costs look elsewhere cause I'm sure you can find somewhere a whole lot cleaner and more pleasantly smelling I certainly wouldn't return it states a private garden private it maybe but not accessible to paying guests Elaine only seems to be interested in money for doing nothing cause the whole place desperately needs a refurbishment and a very deep clean cause all the places accessible to the paying guests are full of cobwebs dirt and grime Elaine only seems interested in the longterm guests. please book elsewhere cause there is some really beautiful places in Dublin I will certainly return to Dublin but definitely not to this dirty rundown bed and breakfast."

"Excellent B&B, clean comfortable rooms, tea and coffee available in your room, TV. Breakfast is a continental buffet, everything fresh. Elaine and Dermot are excellent hosts, friendly and good knowledge of the area, always ready with good advice of where to go. I would highly recommend a visit."

"Elaine was delightful to work with. She found out a few days before my arrival that she could accommodate me one more night as Inhad hoped to book weeks previously. She contacted me quickly and arrange the cancellation with the B&B I was going to stay with upon my request. She also helped me plan my one day I had in Dublin and have me recommendations on which stops on my hop on and off bus I might enjoy the most. She also had many maps and discount cards to many attractions. The breakfast was a standard Irish breakfast but I was very good with many options. Inhad an early flight and she made me a breakfast to go as well as helped me plan my bus trip to the airport. The room was small but I was only there to sleep and repack before my flight so that didn't bother me. The bathroom in my en suit was rather small and narrow which was my only real discontentment with the place. However, there was a larger shared bathroom with a very nice shower. I would stay here again without hesitation."
