Reviews
"Very nice and practical place to stay. Walks along the Ward river opposite the house, busses to Dublin centre, shopping center 200m away, near Swords castle ..."
"Very homely and comfortable and most of all, a very warm welcome from the landlady, Marion. Beautifully presented breakfast with anything you could want before a full day's visiting. The bedrooms are cosy with an en-suite, TV and tea making facilities. There's plenty of room with ample storage. The beds were so comfortable, they provided a great night's sleep, great to recharge after a busy day. I would totally recommend Highfield House and I would definitely stay there again."
"Great Location"
"Such a delightful place! Finest of hospitality. Imagine sitting within the garden of blooming perennials and roses of every colour after a 13 hour flight. A small bird hopped in and out of view as I reveled in the quiet. Turns out the owners feed him. * 5 minutes from the airport. A short walk, to many pubs, a post office, shopppppping, a charity thrift shop and banks. Truly, a Secret Garden. Heading back there for my last night in Ireland."
"This was a beautiful B &B. The husband-wife team that runs it are very nice, genuine and caring people. They made breakfast extra early for us, since we needed to reach Dublin early for one of the tour booking we had made. They also were very helpful with directions and information on how to get about in Dublin. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and filling ! My kids loved the full Irish breakfast each morning. The B and B is very close to airport (5-7 mins by taxi) and very convenient in that sense. It is also close to the bus line, and the bus (41C) took about 40-50 mins to get into Dublin. Overall, highly recommend this place."
