"I generally do not do leave bad reviews but after the extremely bad customer service I received I feel like I should inform others of the difficulties I experienced. I ordered a laptop table almost 7 weeks ago. It was to be collected from the shop. Weeks passed and I rang/called to the shop. After over a month, I finally got an answer as to where the table was - in a warehouse that couldn't deliver it to the shop. So I had paid for a table I couldn't collect. The saga of trying to get an answer from the shop went on for weeks. Finally got a refund but loads of hassle in between."
"Really terrible experience with this store. Purchased a mattress, king bed frame and accessories for delivery. Within the given delivery window today, we are told that the bed frame is no longer available because it’s damaged and would take a few weeks to get back in again. Not ideal obviously as we’ve already taken apart our old frame and were literally waiting on the doorbell to ring any moment with the delivery. They ask us to look online for an alternative, only 1 other one suits our needs, this one would take 3 weeks. So we ask for the frame to just be cancelled from the finance agreement and to have the rest of the items delivered, they say fine, my partner will need to go in and resign, no big deal. In the meantime, we have purchased a frame from IKEA click and collect as a contingency. Harvey Norman delivery then eventually shows up and guess what also has been delivered? The bed frame, except the delivery men state that it wasn’t damaged, it was just missing when they went to collect it in the morning but was there then when they were called back. We’re irritated now because we’ve been messed around and have forked out for another frame elsewhere, but figure it’s worked out regardless so we’ll cancel the IKEA frame. It felt suspicious that they said they didn’t have the frame and then suddenly did, but we were just tired with it at this point and took in the delivery. We then go to assemble the frame and my partner notices that the foot bed and support panel included in the box is for a superking, not a standard king, so the frame is useless and can’t be assembled. Too late to call the store now, so we’ve a mattress on the floor for tonight and will have to deal with this in the morning. Just an incredibly exhausting, irritating and redundant experience overall. Has deterred me from wanting to do business with them again."
"I ordered bed and mattresses around 2 months ago, order was delivered last week, with defective/broken bed frame parts, upon following up for days, i was informed it would be replaced and assembled today, chased the store for whole day today, even tried the help lines, they have no responsibility and did not cared to at-least follow with the logistics. The Help line team just hang up your call since they do not have appropriate answers/solutions. Upon following up whole day at the end of the day when i called the store i was informed that unfortunately they have no idea whats going wrong with deliveries. What a shame, they have zero responsibility"
