"Our French Bulldog, Darcy, has been attending regular water treadmill and acupuncture appointments since her IDD surgery in April 2022. Darcy has made incredible progress and we see a difference each session. Her proprioception has improved dramatically. The whole team are absolutely fabulous and Darcy loves all of you! Darcy is not an easy patient, she’s very hyper and easily stimulated and doesn’t like to do anything for free - the team are excellent at providing the best bribes (Darcy’s words, not mine!). She thoroughly enjoys her appointments and we love taking her. We can’t recommend the team at Vet Rehab NI enough."
"We attend this hydrotherapy center for therapeutic sessions with our dog following her hip dysplasia diagnosis. Clare is a brilliant, passionate and dedicated hydro therapist and the sessions make a huge difference for our dog improving the motion in her legs, building muscle mass and relieving pain. Clare's love for dogs and passion for her job bring amazing results and therefore I would recommend her services to anyone who's animal friend could benefit from it."
"This is an excellent hydrotherapy centre and Clare is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional. Both my dogs go swimming on different days, and from the moment they arrive they are made to feel at ease in a welcoming and friendly environment. Mollie is normally terrified of strangers and new places but she took to Clare really quickly, and I was thrilled to see her go into the water (with lots of reassurance). Crombie attends regularly for rehabilitation for hip dysplasia, and he absolutely loves it! He particularly enjoys the massages during his rest periods! Hydrotherapy definitely makes a huge difference with building and maintaining the muscle mass around his hips and helps to reduce any stiffness or discomfort. I highly recommend bringing your dog here. Whether it's for a specific medical condition or just to shift a little extra weight they may be carrying, they will be in very good hands."
"Clare was knowledgeable and passionate to benefits of hydrotherapy but equally important, she was great with Stan. Having had surgery for luxating patella in both knees and a torn cruciate he was in a bit of a grump. However as soon as her saw Clare he perked right up. He was so relaxed whilst being massaged in a lovely heated pool he would almost fall asleep. Clare was very caring and made Stan's exercises fun and of course he knew there would be a treat at the end. I strongly believe that hydrotherapy cut Stan's recovery time by building his muscle structure gently each week. Highly recommended without hesitation."
"Lexi has been visiting paws for a splash for around 8 months and not only is she getting a swim, she also gets a massage and exercises to ensure her joints and muscles are strong and recovering from her various operations. Lexis muscle mass in her hips has improved massively and I always notice a huge difference in how she is walking after a session with Clare. All her muscles have been loosened and she gets a real spring in her step. By far the best hydrotheripist in Belfast and probably in Northern Ireland!"
