"Had been using in the past with no issues. Ordered taxi today and I’m wondering if this has changed ownership- no booking text, no despatch text etc…no updates. It was late, so rang up to chase and was told the driver had told them he had shown up - no way! Total farce and rubbish service. They offered to book another cab, but I rang Need a Cab instead and the taxi turned up really quickly with all the updates you would expect."
"We called to pre-book a taxi on Christmas eve ready for Christmas day to be able to visit my elderly parents at 4pm. I advised the lady it was for 3 passengers and 2 small ‘lap’ dogs and she confirmed it was absolutely fine and all booked in. At 1358 two hours before our pick up time, we received a call from a lady at Towercabs who advised us that they were cancelling the taxi and that the lady who booked us in on the phone the day shouldn’t have in fact made the booking and there was nothing they could do, leaving us without any means of getting to see my parents/children’s grandparents on Christmas day. There was no apology, the lady cancelling was very blasé and abrupt and no offer of any other help to sort this issue out. I then spent the best part of an hour on christmas day calling numerous taxi firms until finally Easy Cars were able to take us over to my parents at 4pm. Absolutely shocking service and poor customer service from Tower cabs who should do better considering how ‘established’ they are. Will not be using again and will be informing others of how unreliable they were on Christmas day!"
"£8.20 for a ride from Plymouth coach station to the bottom of North Hill. When I put my address in google, it says it is exactly 1 mile from the coach station and 4 minutes in the car. That was £8.20. Ridiculous. The driver was nice but that is a joke of a price and I will be letting friends and family know."
"Called other taxi firms to book a 3:30am trip to the coach station in Plymouth to no avail. Tower Cabs said yes no problem! They texted me with updates and a tracking service and arrived on time. The driver was very helpful and the price was fair. Thank you!"
"Booked Cab for 18.00 by 18.15 no sign of it, rang office told they were trying to get a driver. In the end I drove and planned to leave car at Golf Club as we had a return booking. However when we arrived at Golf Club my husband rang Tower who said the driver did eventually turn up and as we weren't there they cancelled out return booking. Asked if we could re book and have a guarantee they would pick us up, answer no cannot do that. Have always used Tower, but never again"
