Reviews
"Great place to explore for children and families but bear in mind only one cave open at mo early yo mid October when main road shut for maintenance of the cliffs for safety reasons. Theres a good little interactive museum which is free, with lots of info about the caves and pre historic life. There isn't much parking when its busy its best to park in the town and walk uphill. Some lovely pubs and cafes, gift shops and outdoor shops to explore. The river is beautiful but sadly completely blocked off to public with no access so you can just look in awe."
"Was quiet when I arrived - 9am on a Thursday. About £5 or £6 for the day. Close to everything including toilets and shops"
"Great place for hiking. It can get pretty busy on weekends when the Sun is out, so good idea to take a day off during week if you prefer quiet nature. And if you like cider you should def try some here. I would recommend unpasteurised one straight from barrels."
"Marvellous view, we had a lovely long walk at the Cheddar Gorge, but don't count only 2 hours if you want to take the whole excursion. It's worth to take your time and just watch the scenery."
