"This service doesn't even deserve 1 star..absolutely disappointed with their service. My son had a dentist appointment I rang an hour early thinking all taxi services take time. They said 10 mins after every 20 mins I kept ringing they kept saying just 10 mins away. After an hour i told them my sons late for his appointment I have been given 5 mins can u pleze tell driver to hurry up only to be told I'm sorry no driver can come in 5 mins not even after an hour. Cancelled my taxi and missed my sons appointment two. My first and last time with this service so upset and angry wasted my time if they were busy should of told me in beginning we going to take 30 to 40 mins I would of booked with another firm."
"247 cars is absolute rubbish, took my booking in advance but then didn't turn up at first, then was late. Poor service. Also operators have a deep accent not clear communication. Will not be using this company ever again."
"Taxi arrived 20 mins late and only after 4 calls to them. The driver drove like a maniac so I didn't miss my train. I did get to the train station on time but would rather not have the stress. Won't use this company again."
"Most of the drivers are nice but I will not be using them again because they sent a driver to Centenary Square for me this morning who charged me £18.60 to go to the petrol station on Great Horton Road which i did not spend long in and then to a cash point which was on the way to Clayton because he said that the card machine in his car was not working. It's not the first time that he has overcharged me either. He thinks that he can get away with ripping people off but he will reap what he sows eventually."
"I have used 247 taxis for over 16 years and never left a review but had a cheeky chap driver Afraz tonight and I promised I would leave a review and yes you were a joy to travel home with given that we hit every traffic jam imaginable. I have read some of the reviews and I am quite shocked. I have never been pressured to pay cash and on some occasions taxis have been late but they were not intentionally late or misleading bookings. If I have ever had an issue I have spoken to the office and they have been professional and courteous. What I would say is give a business a chance to rectify before giving a bad review. Shaun and Mike are the most polite and genuinely nice operators you could wish to speak with."
