"Long wait to access the room, no one to help at the reception and we had young lads next door smoking weeds and arguing loud and aggressively the next day. I did not feel safe there. Not a pleasant experience."
"Stayed here last night and you know what, it's not a bad place at all. The room was nice and clean and the bed was comfy (slightly too soft for me). It would have been nice to have the heating on in the room over night but I was warm enough under the quilt. Unfortunately I didn't get the best night's sleep because of one of the other guests in a different room down the hall. She wouldn't stop screaming overnight. She woke me up at 10 to 6 this morning with even more crying. I'd probably stay here again if I had to."
"We'd have been just as well to stay in a hostel, cold, smelled damp, no heating in October, very basic, paper cups provided in rooms for tea/coffee but clean. Ok if your only passing through and just need a bed. No food available and no staff."
"Prearranged to arrive early but was met by a very rude cleaner telling us the room wasn't ready! Room in desperate need of repair and modification. Whole hotel musky and dull. Curtain half off wall then completely fell down when drawn. Sofa bed in family room was in bad condition, very uncomfortable with stains on the mattress. WiFi was awful, kept cutting out and very slow. Little to no mobile Internet or signal in the area so couldn't rely on that either. Base of bath poorly repaired with silicone, half of tap missing. Shower barely dribbled out. Coffee in room tasted awful and kettle full of limescale. Just really disappointed with this hotel"
"If you'd like to stay somewhere where you have hardly no mobile signal. Then this place is perfect for you for exploring Cheddar, Weston-super-Mare and surrounding area. Everything is done contactlessly, if you want anything you text or ring a number. I found I couldn't text very much and WiFi wasn't very good either. My only complaint with the rooms is lack of accessible plug sockets and ones that are available are in bad positions. If wanted to boil a kettle the plug was on the floor not at desk level.q"
