"Had lunch here which was delicious. The dining room is really comfortable and the fire was lit which is always a bonus. I had the mushroom pate which was packed with flavour. The staff gave excellent service and were very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place for somewhere to eat"

"Perfectly fine for a pub bnb. Rooms clean and quiet, let down big time by chef not turning up and no breakfast on our second morning !!!!! (evening meal was good night before). Full English was fine morning before but a bit small if your a hearty eater ... 1 sausage and 1 bacon plus usual suspects."
