"A group of friends and I booked here winter 2020 (yes, there were some Covid restrictions but the host was more than happy to take our money). We made the call it was in everyone’s best interest to cancel the trip because of covid restrictions; sadly the hosts have not been accommodating in coming to some sort of refund agreement. We proposed 50% or to reschedule our trip but have had little response. We had booked the whole estate and have now lost almost £6000 pounds with nothing to show for it. Very disappointing and really quite appalling service!"
"Ingrained grime in the floor, skirting and inner windows. Dark hairs all over the floor. Wet used towels in a cupboard stinking the room out. A bed that was the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in or rather couldn't sleep in. Booked for 3 nights left after the first night. Owner admitted that the room had to be deep cleaned and the bed renewed. No offer of recompense for the bad night we spent or refund for the further2 nights we refused to stay. By far the worst experience we have had in 40 years of extensive touring. Abysmal attitude both on arrival and treatment of complaints."
"Lovely guest house, stayed here for one night. Upon arrival we were greeted at the door and shown to our room. We stayed in the master suite which was lovely. The room was very spacious and cosy. The building is 16/17 century but has been done up modern and in keeping. The bed was massive and very comfy. Good drink facilities teas and coffee's and nespresso machine. The bathroom was very large and modern. Breakfast is brought to your room at the time of your choice which is very nice, and the food was excellent. We would highly recommend this place and if in the area will definitely stay here again. It's about a 10-15 minute drive into centre of bath and 25 minutes from Bristol."
"Wonderful hosts couldnt have asked for anything more. Accommodation is a fusion of old and new mixed with a bit of quirky and heritage charm, extremely comfortable, we loved everything about our stay . Thank you all for the extremely generous breakfast we are still working off the calories. Will be back soon ."
"An excellent place to stay. Very relaxing place, we had the hay barn that came with a separate lounge dining area with a very large TV and heated floor and a full sky package, not something I would normally expect. The bedroom came with one of the largest beds I have ever slept in and it was super comfortable. After chilling out in such luxurious surroundings both Bath and Bristol are in very close proximity. We were there specifically for the Bath Christmas Market but would seriously consider going back I the summer to have more access to the surrounding area"
