"Lovely decor, completely changed since my last visit. Was a relaxing meal but a group of people spoiled it with their loud behaviour. Diners should consider other diners and behave in an appropriate manner."
"Very disappointed…. Some of the staff must have been having a bad day as the attitudes of them was absolutely shocking. I felt I was a burden being there. The chap who served us the drink was lovely, the lady who took our order was friendly. However when one waitress brought the mains out she was far from Happy, was even more annoyed at being asked for some sauce and also another round of drinks. The restaurant was not busy and the staff just seemed to be lingering about. No one came and asked if we wanted more drinks. Some of the table wanted deserts and eventually we got a waitresses attention. Again don’t think she was too happy telling us what was on the menu. The food was fine. But the service really let this place down tonight. At one point I didn’t think they were wanting paid as we asked for the bill twice and never got it. 20 mins later we asked again, got it, paid and left. This was a family catch up pre Christmas, we planned to stay longer but given the experience we didn’t hang about for some drinks."
"Just visited for lunch. It was extremely busy with 2 funeral parties (?) in and a corporate lunch group. Very noisy. Staff were rushed off their feet, but coped admirably. Food was fine, nothing special. Reasonably priced and restaurant was clean and tidy. Toilets were very nice, clean and fresh."
