"This is a gem! Our family of 7 spent our last vacation day there. Super great place. Rooms are so comfortable quiet and clean. Beautiful view from the window and loved the fresh night air. Home cooked breakfast from a delightful kitchen kept us going all day! Beautiful setting of dishes and every detail perfect. Our host was so friendly and helpful. "This is a super place to stay if you are wanting to tour the area.( Can recommend the Kelpies,) A very welcoming host. Nothing is too much trouble for Scott & family. Spacious room, lovely comfortable bed, a very hearty breakfast with plenty of choices. After a long journey I had arrived at Herdshill earlier than planned but was allowed into my room to refresh ( far better than some of the more corporate hotels that would have insisted on the set time). Would certainly recommend and would visit again."
