"Location was 5 minutes from where I needed to be the next day so that’s a bonus. Bed and room was clean and comfortable, decent sized TV plus tea coffee etc. However that being said… They charged £10 for a late arrival. We were greeted by a young boy who looked no older than 14. We had a private external bathroom. No en-suite. Our room was situated at the entrance of the property. The soundproof of the whole building was awful. We were work up multiple times between 5am and 10am due to guests leaving. In all that it was cheap enough. And I would return providing I could have a room elsewhere"
"Fantastic hidden gem for my needs. Accommodated my late arrival. Comfy beds! Would defiantly stay again when passing through. Took a while to figure out the shower as it was always coming out cold, although got there in the end."
"Room had not been cleaned bin full of beer cans and rubbish. Very run down, garden a mess, conservatory boarded up as falling down. Photos must be years old. A nice building that has been left to rot, could be something special. Woken at 3am with a big domestic argument, screaming etc. One to avoid. Unless desperate for somewhere to stay. Only stayed one night of two booked, complaints ignored..."
"Loved the room and the house in general. Would have given higher score if the lights in the room worked (apart from the ceiling light nothing else turned on), if the draft from the side room was less prominent and if it had been sound proofed in any way. Slept very well in the nice double bed, bathroom was nice and stocked, and all in all worth it for a night. Think this could be an absolutely lovely getaway with a few upgrades here and there."
"Comfortable beds, warm and clean. Not modern but fantastic value for money. It was a stopover on business and great value for money. Much better than I was expecting for the price. No idea why there are bad reviews, what do you expect at budget pricing."
