"My baby girl loves this nursery and so do I! Her growth over the past couple of months in this nursery has been phenomenal, they take such good care of our babies and you feel like each teacher/minder has a personal relationship with you and your baby. They manage your babies wellbeing and supplies using a very hand app which is a huge plus. I must say - leaving my baby at nursery was hard initially but LEYF made the process easy for me."
"LEYF Cumberland Road has been the best decision I have made for my child. He has learnt a lot and grown so much in confidence since being here. The teachers are friendly and support the children really well, helping them explore new interests."
"Our daughter couldn’t be happier at Cumberland Road. All of the staff are so welcoming and caring, we’re always kept well informed about her progress and she eats better than we do at home! Highly recommend"
"Really Poor Nursery. More of a drop your kid off and don’t expect anything. Kids clothes always comes home dirty. They don’t clean their floors and play areas as much as most of the clothing is permanently stained. Also my child came home with a bruise and their immediate response was ‘oh it didn’t happen here no one saw anything’. I would’ve much rather asked if my child was okay as oppose to being defensive when all I did was query the bruise. Few other issues in regards to management, controls and measures, I have forwarded to OFSTED actually. I will however say their are a few good staff members working there but they get put down and it’s a real shame for their sake."
"Our 1 year old daughter has been going to this nursery since May 2022. She's very happy there, always happy to see the carers (who are very communicative and attentive), and always smiling at drop off and pick up (which is a good sign). As new parents, we were a tad nervous for our girl to start nursery, but the staff were very supportive and reassuring. We are kept up to date via their 'Just for Parents' app with private photos and videos, it's been wonderful to 'watch' her progress and development from afar. And there are 'events' to stay engaged, for example, they had a Father's Day event in June so the children and children's parents could meet, and I recently attended a first Parent's Evening to discuss how our girl was getting on and how we can help her progress further at home in line with what the nursery was doing for the children. They take a very collaborative approach to developing the children, asking what the children like and enjoy outside of nursery so they can do similar activities, and telling parents what the children are doing in nursery so we can consider emulating at home. The nursery itself is very nice, and clean, our daughter is in the baby/toddler (up to 2 years old) 'Explorer' room, each room has it's own amenities and outdoor garden/play space for the children to venture (of course under constant supervision) and enjoy. This is great in summer, especially this sweltering one, where the nursery got out paddling pools for the kids! They seem to be constantly refurbishing and trying to make the place better (recently they put new flooring down in the foyer). The food/weekly menu was a big sell! It's all prepared on site, with fresh seasonal ingredients, some tasty dishes that even give me food envy! Of course any dietary requirements are catered for. The children have herbs in their outdoor spaces which are then used in their food. They get to see and learn about this, for example, the other day our girl brought home a coriander and tomato plant to take care of. She loves the food there. To conclude, despite it only being a few months in, we can see our daughter is very content and safe at the nursery, and that's really all that matters. We have the staff to thank. And would recommend to other parents looking for a nursery in the area."
