"Hosted my daughters birthday party here. Anthony was brilliant with helping us book the hall and found the staff lovely on the day. They were all so helpful and accommodating on the day. Great experience and would definitely book again."
"Great activities for all ages. Lovely space with amazing potential needs attention and major renovation"
"Went to the BEAT at the community centre. They has some nice pieces of pottery there and I bought two pieces. Then I walked back home along the path beside the play area and Cuckoo park. I didn't know it was there. A little hidden gem."
"A beautiful institution set in some well maintained open green spaces, nice views of Sudbury and Horseden Hill to the North. The exhibition inside is we worth spending an hour for and the cafe is basic but good for a quick bevvie."
"There is something in this building that sparks your imagination in many different directions....We saw the building for the first time at dusk on a winter day and it felt magical, magnificent , solemn. The place has a long and interesting history -Chrlie Chaplin was a not very happy pupil there for a brief period ( year and a half ). When you wander around in the building you can feel the history ( partly because nothing was probably done since it was build) , you can marvel at the windows and the architecture, you can even start inventing stories ( magical , historical or criminal ) The only painful thing is that the building is in dire need of refurbishment and rebirth because now it's kind of hidden, unknown and neglected. The scary part is that there was an idea to be turned into flats!!!!! I believe that we should love , protect and reinvent our historical buildings."
