"AVOID! After placing an order for a Kennel, we was advised delivery would be 3-5 working days, placed our order on Saturday, received a phone call Monday saying some of what we had ordered was out of stock, three options 1. there is an alternate but will cost you more. 2. Wait three weeks for stock to come in. 3. Refund but have to wait up to 5 working days until received, none of which really benefited us, however, we needed the kennel so paid the extra, was then advised that it would be placed on the lorry Wednesday to be with us Friday. I emailed on Wednesday to double check, to which I received a response saying it would be more likely Monday - Wednesday, (wonder if I would have been told if I didn’t ask?!) not exactly happy considering when you place the order you have to put in your post code for them to calculate when you should receive goods, after being told there was nothing that could be done, I asked if we could be informed ASAP regarding delivery, I received the following response 'will do' not very professional so I thought I’d call as not practically happy! The whole time I had spoken to Dylan, and WOW, I have worked in Customer Service and I know how you should and shouldn't speak to a customer, he really doesn't! I asked if there was nothing else that could be done as when the order was placed we was advised up to 5 working days and he also confirmed on Monday it would be with us Friday, he started talking over me and not letting me finish to which I asked him not to do, I then had the following responses 'I'm not going to help you', 'I don't get paid enough to deal with this.' he also didn't know the company that he was representing complaint’s procedure, to which I am still waiting to hear back about. He laughed at me when I asked if we had to be home for delivery after arrange a day of work for Friday and now not knowing what day it would now be delivered, how are you meant to arrange work around that? He said 'well yes, the delivery driver isn't going to off-load it on his own.' I'm sorry, I've never placed an order and had to help the driver off-load the delivery! The call ended with 'all I can do is apologise.' Maybe you should have started with that! After finishing the call, I was so angry at the way I had been spoken to, I am a paying customer and you don't talk to people like that, especially when it was no fault on my own, I was going from the information he had given me! I didn't want to give the company a penny of our money so ended up paying a fair bit more elsewhere and the delivery is within 2 days, they provided an excellent service and guess what, the delivery driver can off-load on his own! I have had my money back from Dog Kennel's Direct, avoid at all costs, should have checked the reviews first as I don't seem to be the only one who has received poor Customer Service!"
"Five stars given to the quality of the galvanised panels I placed my order on their website and was told I'd receive a further email for confirmation and when delivery would be I received nothing so called up the number the man was helpful on the phone and delivery was a few days later but if I hadn't called I woudnt of known when they would of arrived as I needed to arrange with work other than that great to deal with I'd definitely order again many thanks"
"A disgrace of a company. Took our money; we waited 2 weeks nothing arrived. Phoned but got the impression we were insignificant as we had "only ordered one panel". Customer service was awful with no real signs of wanting to assist. We requested a refund and were told up to five day for it to show on our account. It is now 9 days and no refund and no reply to our email yesterday. They seem to be very efficient at taking and keeping our money but not very good at delivering products or refunds. As a small business we can't afford to pay for things and not receive goods or refund. Our refund has now finally arrived."
"Owner was very helpful to start, once I made my purchase of over £400 on the Monday he informed me that his courier would be in touch via phone call to discuss delivery. One week and three days later and no phone call from courier. I did however ring the owner three times since my purchase, the first two he stated that he’d be calling the courier requesting them to contact me which they never did and on the third occasion I rang him expressing my concerns that it had been 9 days since my purchase and yet no contact had been made from the courier. He then accused me of being “aggressive” and that I needed to be “patient”. If I ran my business’s and spoke to my customers in this manner, I wouldn’t be very busy! Avoid at all cost"
