"A short but busy stay in a nice hotel. The beds were worn and could do with new mattresses however the rooms were very clean and the facilities in the rooms are excellent. The hotel offers an option to pay for a cot however be warned this is a travel cot with a very thin mattress topper but no mattress, we were unable to put our 6 month old in it due to the lack of support and safe sleep options so ended up with her in our bed which was not ideal. The staff at the hotel are excellent, very helpful and nothing was too much to ask. Within hours of arrival all the staff seemed to know my 2 year old name and always said hello. The staff were amazing and made the stay much more enjoyable."
"Went for afternoon tea to celebrate my daughters birthday. Grandson was catered for perfectly. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food delicious. Selection of afternoon teas sweet or savory and a variety of drinks included ad well as offerings from the bar. Will visit again"
"My partner and I spent an overnight B&B stay and spa that was a Christmas gift. It couldn't have been better. The old part of the building is amazing and beautifully maintained, whilst the rooms are spotlessly clean, modern and stylishly decorated. The bed was huge and very comfortable and excellent black out blinds and quietness made for a fantastic sleep. Everything you could need in the room. The spa facilities are very clean, luxurious and very therapeutic. We had a meal in the lounge which was absolutely beautiful food and wonderful friendly service. The breakfast was everything you could wish for and the service was outstanding.we aim to go again as soon as possible, for longer if possible!!"
"On arrival the consierge was such a lovely, helpful man and such a lovely hotel. Everything was perfect for our overnight stay. The spa was spotlessly clean, lovely place to relax in the sauna, pool, snow room, jacuzzi, outside hot tub. Our room was gorgeous with a balcony. Food was amazing. Would highly recommended"
"I'm a member of the leisure club (which hotel guests have access to) and so cannot comment on the rooms or hotel service. What I can say is the leisure club has a decent gym, both weights and aerobic, the swimming pool is kept nice with sauna, steam room and snow cave. Outside there is a small sitting area with two outdoor spas. Bistro I've used occasionally and it's pretty good. If the rooms and hotel service match the leisure side, they should be of a good standard Close to Chester, Burton marshes, West Kirby and Heswall. For a couple of days break I would say it was perfect."
