"Me and a few of my friends came to play “School of magic” we loved the atmosphere, staff were extremely friendly and were always helpful if we got stuck on any of the puzzles. We all absolutely loved the way the room was set up and linked to Harry Potter. Would definitely recommend and will come again maybe to play a scarier game such as their “prisoner” game"
"Overall it was fun, but that was probably because we had fun as a group of friends, and we were laughing about the place rather than the actual room being that great. Firstly, it was very difficult to to find and we had to go through a garage door on the side street. It looked like it was a warehouse or car park that was turned into some makeshift escape room. Only two bathrooms which were disgusting. The host was very friendly and nice but seemed very young and inexperienced and wasn't that great at the actual hosting part. Whenever we got stuck, he just quickly gave us the clues and we finished in 25-30 minutes and didn't get the full experience and hour. Overall, good fun, but not because of the room itself, and I do not recommend as an escape room booking if you are paying a lot. There's better places out there. I would give 2.5 stars if that was an option over 3 stars."
"My 11 year old and 5 friends played School of Magic 2 and had a great time. They loved the space and experience. Feedback was that there could have been more clues to move from one puzzle to the next, more rooms and tunnels and they would like to have been there longer as they were having a lot of fun. On booking, Stephen was really helpful and accommodating. Thank you"
"Honestly a shockingly bad escape room. I did "The Prisoner" with some friends. The sense we got is that the room had at one point had functional puzzles, but was now missing basically all of the important pieces. Tonnes of clues and things that led nowhere. Most of the puzzles just had to be brute forced, eg prying things open with crowbars. Everything was messed up, broken, dirty. There was no logic to the room at all. At one point the door to the room was just open half way through (indicating the room was solved), then a staff member chased us back in indicating the room wasn't done. We paid £210 for this for 7 people and I've never felt so ripped off! The staff members were nice and doing their best, and there were some cute dramatic elements, but overall an absolute disaster of an escape room that I don't recommend to anyone at all."
"Good experience. They have multiple experiences. The staff are friendly. I am a little confused with the overall setup though. I am not sure if they are attempting a rustic look but it looks like a warehouse with a few rooms built in. The experiences are all well built and fun but the waiting area isn't great. There is only 1 toilet and not very clean. Could do better with making the areas outside the rooms look more appealing."
