"My first visit to this venue. Went to the Mother's Day Comedy Warehouse event. Great evening but my only criticism was the chairs were really uncomfortable. You're squashed into your seat with no leg room at all to stretch them. I was seated up stairs By the end of the evening my knee was hurting more as a result."
"Just looked at the line up for the next few months..why is there no shows ..like bootleg beatles ...elvis tribute ...even the drifters etc there was in the past what's happened ."
"I went along to the theatre on 12 Feb to the Credit Crunch Comedy Show. The show was good. I was very disappointed with the refurbishment in relation to the seats in the raised stalls, seats J1 and 2. With the money and Time, why would the theatre not take the seating out and replace it with more leg room, the wooden panel at the feet area restricts movement of the feet, if you are over 5'5" it is hazardously uncomfortable and a health risk as it can affect circulation. I cannot be the first person to raise concerns about the seating. The management team really missed an opportunity to make the experience of attending your theatre a comfortable and enjoyable one. - Janet Farquharson."
"Been trying to book online for seats every time basket empty seats gone. Have complaint they don’t care or do anything about it. Very disappointing. Badly set up not user friendly either. Especially first time experiencing this major off put!!"
"Unfortunately went to take the little one to see Beauty and the Beast over the Christmas period. As she is a wheelchair user I didn’t think that there would be too much trouble going to see the pantomime, as most places such as this have usually come up to code, in meeting the needs of those with disabilities. However we had to turn back around and go right home. As there were certainly no ramps to get her up and down (if there are any they a definitely not visible upon arrival, nor were we any mentioned by staff). As Immediately when you arrive at the entrance your met with more than a few steps to navigate. The tickets were purchased on our behalf, when we arrived, we were informed that there was no seating available for a wheelchair user. Moreover from what I gather from others we knew who also attended. The toilets were absolutely filthy, water all on the floors and not cleaned at all. Definitely no place to change a child; much less a child with a disability who is unable to walk and would need lifting. Lewisham Borough and Catford ought to be ashamed that this is the best they have to offer. Given that this theatre sits right next to the local authorities offices you would think that someone would have noticed that this venue, does not meet the requirements of what could be considered as offering equal rights to all... much less meeting the basic sanitary needs of the people able bodied or otherwise."
