The tutors are very dedicated to teaching and learning and they all focus on the university mission and that's transforming the lives of all students that enter the doors. Highly recommended"
"Amazing experience for studying here as a mature student and working as well. If anyone has missed a chance when young and wants to experience a university life, this is the place to come and experience it."
"All lectures have strong african accent it is difficult/not possible to understand them, they do not speak in academic language. Communication is very poor, university does not answering to complaints."
"PLEASE READ SOME OF THE REVIEWS HERE BEFORE YOU JOIN! I am convinced now I chose the wrong university, I joined UWTSD hoping I will learn something and it will help me in my career but during my second term I realised the university it's set up only to scam money of the government. The university does not care about their students once they joined, they do not care if you learn anything nor about the feedback you give them. Most of my teachers are struggling with their English, our class is composed only by foreign students but all of us have better English than our lecturers. While all other universities are allowing their students to choose if they feel safe to come back to campus or study online, UWTSD is forcing us to come back to campus following a schedule they provide to late, the agreement was that they will provide it 4 weeks before we start but they send it to us 3 weeks before. Also the schedule is split differently than what we agreed when we joined. After a lot of emails send by all of us they just told us that we have to accept this schedule. Our student rep email the programme manager lecturer Eric and he told us basically that our anxieties do not matter, the decision was made and the uni feels they took all the measures. So we have to accept a late schedule different than when we agreed with when joined because of covid but they cannot offer the option to study online nor change it to the template agreed when we joined."
"Certain staff are rude this is just a scam for people to get monies from the government. The agent gets paid! The person refers you gets paid! You get paid! The college gets paid! And no one cares whether you turn up or not, after enrollment as they will still get paid! No one doesn't care about paying back the SLC this is just a farse and a scam! They are not even set up properly to teach the students not enough computers never mind staff! And this bham campus won't last! They are upsetting too many students!"
