"Lovely building with very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and very comfortable with soaps and shower gels provided. Free teas, coffee & biscuits provided in lounge. Lovely breakfast included with good selection, full English, fruits and granola juices, etc. Would definitely recommend Hinsley Hall."

"Brilliant location in a gothic building which is very quiet. Good parking. Great staff and lovely breakfast. It’s a conference centre so expect basic rooms but ours was clean and had what we needed. Free tea and coffee which was actually nice. I think double/twin rooms are scarce (it’s main purpose is conferences) so try and book well in advance if you are a couple or take two rooms. We’ll be back if they have availability."

"Great location in a peaceful location that is handy for the city centre. But our double room was tiny. There is about one metre clearance between the bed and the walls, and that's it. You have to take it in turns to pack/unpack! The ensuite was much more spacious than the room. At breakfast the food was OK but not good. The preparation was fine and the service was fine. But the cheapest possible ingredients were being served. I don't know why places like this continue to offer those awful tasteless tinned catering baked beans... Ugh. Overall, the place feels more like a hostel than a hotel, or an upscale student residence. If you want a conference centre or an institutional retreat then fine. If you want a hotel, though, then try again."

"A great place for a conference, particularly if the group is of a religious or reflective nature. Several good sized meeting rooms and many rooms for smaller groups. Plus chapel. Big enough to accommodate about 40+ people staying overnight. Also used quite often for fay groups. Good food. Friendly staff."

"Although very basic set up the location is amazing and great accessing Leeds. Nice staff, clean and comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Should consider some Vegan and Vegetarian options on breakfast i.e alternative milk and vegan/vegetarian hot options. Very good value and would use again."
