"Great location with on site payable parking. Within walking distance for the city centre. Easy to access from the M1. Quick, friendly check in, nice comfortable room. Good breakfast with a good selection. Tables cleared quickly and cleaned. Lovey staff."
"In the middle of student accommodation blocks but was lovely and quiet overnight with convenient and well priced car park. Rooms are large, immaculately clean and very well equipped. Included breakfast was excellent with simple but tasty buffet. The best thing about this place was the staff who were without exception friendly and efficient and really seemed to care you had a good stay. Highly recommend for a good value stay especially if travelling by car."
"The room： Three stars hotel with two stars facility. No fridge, no safe is OK for me, but the hot water is slow like urination (See video attached), It is horrible in winter. The breakfast : The first time I have breakfast without eggs provide. Selection is very very minimal. The beacons is very salty and the coffee and juice doesn't taste good either. Final : The room is clean, otherwise I will knock down one more star. Anyway, I won't come back, as location is quite a walk from the city."
"Pleasant hotel if a little dated in the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is significant road noise, so if you can’t sleep with noise then you will probably want to find a better placed hotel. It takes about 16 minutes to walk into town / the train station. There is parking onsite, but you do have to pay. The free WiFi works well and is quick enough to stream video. Breakfast is nice, with options for both vegan and veggies. The real stars are the staff, who are excellent. Really friendly and very helpful."
"Nice Holiday Inn Express Hotel, with modern, comfortable rooms. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Hotel has parking (£20 for 2 days as of Sep 22). Free breakfast was well cooked, with a grab and go option for those in a rush. It's not exactly in the city centre, but it's walkable in about 15 - 20 minutes. Taxi to the station costs about £5 and takes about 10 minutes at 0730 in the morning. I'd stay again."
