"Enjoyed my stay at the Malmaison Hotel. My room was very large and had everything I needed. The only issue was that it was a bit cold in the room and I couldn't seem to get the heating to work properly. The shower head in the bathroom as also a bit old and leaky."
"2 night Christmas eve and Christmas Day stay was wonderful at Malmaison. My husband and i went last year and loved it and could only hope it would be as good, and it was. Beautiful room, everything we needed, great breakfast. What really stands out is the lovely staff. All our requests were met, i.e early check-in, quiet room. All the staff were really friendly and so hopeful. Special mention to Chloe on reception and Gary, the Manager, who took the booking. But all, breakfast staff, bar staff and housekeeping did a wonderful job. Many thanks."
"Great location, room was fantastic, they upgraded us for free to a better room as soon as we arrived. Was a slight over bill I'm guessing due to the upgrade, apologised and refund money in less than 24 hours. Staff where great, guy at reception was so welcoming, can't fault the stay in any way."
"I was located in a room located near the stairwell, room was clean but i would have prefered an exterior room.. The customer service was first class. A little fridge would have been better but it appears it was removed probably because of the virus that took over the world. I would stay here again, just a different room"
"I stayed here for a few days to explore, great location close to the station, harbour, city centre. The rooms are very comfortable, there's a few picky bits with decor, the bathroom could do with a refresh and some of the stairs needed a hoover/dust, but the room itself was very clean, light and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The service at breakfast is great and well worth the money. The restaurant is worth popping into even if you aren't a guest, the beer and burger deal is a bargain, there a relaxed vibe and good ambience its the perfect spot for catching up with friends."
