"Really disappointed with the service tonight. We waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive, after our order was placed (ordered burger and chips & a chicken snack platter). About 30 minutes in, I went to the bar just to see how long it might be. Was told "sure yours is on its way". Nothing after 40 minutes total, went to the bar again and said we were getting quite hungry now, and we had the cinema booked for later on. The lady behind the bar was really lovely, and was told by the kitchen "your order is being worked on now". The food finally arrived 10 minutes later - my burger was burned, and my partner's platter was quite dry. We asked for a "partial" refund (a fiver or something would have been appreciated off a £25 order). The lovely lady we spoke with earlier had to discuss this with her manager. Who quite frankly, couldn't be bothered to attend our table personally, and declined any sort of refund altogether! Very disappointed and won't be coming back, the only saving grace was that lady who tried her best, to get some good news for us. No luck unfortunately"

"Bit of a let down. Okay so it's a Greene King pub so don't be expecting fine dining, but what we ordered was a bit stale. The menu is quite good, lots of choice, but sadly the food wasn't cooked very well. The main issue in this place is the state of it, it's a bit minging. I didn't see one single table get cleaned in the hour and half we were here, and all the tables within eyesight were dirty and had leftover food and drink on them. People were coming in and having to move the leftovers to another table themselves. I won't be returning anytime soon."

"It's a nice pub and what staff there is are nice enough but there isn't enough of them. The place was fairly busy but there was just one girl serving everyone. Only saw one other bloke bringing out the food. Got a second drink via the app thinking it would be quicker but it wasn't. It took 20 minutes to arrive because the girl was busy serving everyone at the bar. Puts me off visiting again cos there's only so much waiting I want to do."

"Went at lunchtime. Lots of choice on menu and prompt efficient service. The food was fine and there was plenty of parking available. There were loads of tables that needed cleaning with dirty plates etc on them. The table we chose in the end had the majority of the menus stained with food and drink stains all over them which was off putting."

"Nice pub. Friendly service. When ordering steaks keep in mind that medium=well done/killed here so if you want medium aim for raw. Other than that great place with decent prices."
