Havelock North Central Kindergarten is a welcoming and beautiful institution located in the heart of Havelock North village in New Zealand. As an establishment, point of interest, and school, we prioritize the well-being and development of our tamariki (children). Our dedicated team of fully trained and experienced teachers, known as kaiako, work alongside the children to provide unique learning experiences tailored to their individual needs, strengths, and interests.

We work with the unique strengths of each child, nurturing and developing them throughout their kindergarten journey, and preparing them for a smooth transition to school. We maintain close ties with local primary schools and collaborate with teachers and students there as well.

Our curriculum is supported by manaakitanga (hospitality, kindness, generosity, and support) and whanaungatanga (relationship, kinship, and a sense of family connection), as well as the strengths and passions of tamariki, teachers, family, and the community. Additionally, we offer up to 30 hours of free early childhood education when you attest your 20 free hours. Terms and conditions apply. Our teachers hold qualifications such as a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE) and a Diploma of Teaching (ECE).
