Welcome to Havelock North Playcentre, a vibrant and inclusive institution located at Porter Drive, 29 in Havelock North, New Zealand. Our establishment is a point of interest for families and caregivers seeking a nurturing and educational environment for their children.

Situated on the corner of Porter Drive and Donnelly Street, our playcentre offers convenient access and additional parking at the end of Cooper Street. We are proud to run four mixed aged sessions from Monday to Thursday, catering to children from birth to 6 years old. These sessions operate from 9:15am to 12:15pm, providing a structured and engaging environment for young learners.

In addition to our regular sessions, we also offer a unique Whānau Session during the summer terms 1 and 4. This session takes place from 3:30pm to 6:30pm and offers a special opportunity for families to come together. During this session, we enjoy a communal dinner and foster a sense of community among all whānau members.

At Havelock North Playcentre, we are fortunate to have a spacious outdoor area that allows us to take advantage of the beautiful Hawke's Bay climate. We actively engage our children in planting and growing various fruits and vegetables, teaching them about sustainability and the importance of nature. Our indoor space is equally well-equipped, boasting a wide range of resources to cater to the diverse needs and interests of our tamariki (children).

We believe in making early childhood education accessible to all families, which is why we offer three free visits to newcomers. Following this, we kindly request a termly donation of $30 per family, ensuring the sustainability and growth of our playcentre.

This information can only be accessed by authorized members of our centre, as well as regional or national employees of Playcentre Aotearoa.
