Welcome to Poppies Preschool, a family-run establishment proudly owned by Richard and Jeanette Allison. With two locations in Christchurch, at 61 St Martins Road and 344 Gardiners Road, as well as Child care in Rangiora at Peppertree and Little Peppertree Preschools, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children.

Our preschools are housed in beautiful character villas, surrounded by large natural playgrounds. We believe in creating a space where children can explore, learn, and grow in a safe and engaging setting. With three separate inside and outside areas, we cater to the specific needs of each age group.

In our Nurseries, we provide care for children from birth to two years, ensuring their early developmental needs are met with love and attention. The Preschool Room is designed for children aged two to approximately three years, fostering their curiosity and independence. For the older children, our Prepschool offers an enriching environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and social skills.

At Poppies Preschool, we go above and beyond the Ministry of Education requirements for teacher-child ratios. This allows us to deliver a high-quality program tailored to the individual needs of each child.
