As you enter our kindergarten, you'll be greeted by a spacious and open-plan inside environment that encourages creativity and imagination. Our unique family/whānau space allows children to fully immerse themselves in role play, fostering a sense of belonging and connection. Through our fence windows, you can watch the world go by on Carmen Road, while our big backyard provides ample opportunities for physical challenges and exploration in the natural world.

One of our proudest features is our edible garden, lovingly tended to by both our tamariki (children) and whānau (family). This garden not only provides a wealth of produce that we incorporate into our kindergarten activities, but also serves as a valuable teaching tool for our children to learn about sustainability and caring for the environment.

At Kidsfirst Kindergartens Broomfield, we offer a comprehensive programme for children aged 2 to 5 years. We prioritize the values of Manaakitanga (caring for each other) and Kaitiakitanga (caring for our environment), instilling a strong sense of responsibility and empathy in our young learners. Our teachers are dedicated to supporting each child's individual interests, skills, and abilities, while also encouraging them to take ownership of their own learning and challenges.

We understand the importance of family and whānau involvement in a child's education, which is why we actively encourage and welcome family members to spend time in our kindergarten. We believe in the power of whanaungatanga (family connection) and value the skills and interests that families bring to enrich our learning environment.

Beyond the gates of our kindergarten, you'll often find us out and about exploring our community with teachers and whānau. We take regular walks, discovering local reserves and even participating in community clean-up efforts. We have strong partnerships with '126 on the Corner' and local schools, ensuring a smooth transition for your child when the time comes to move on to primary school.

When it comes to enrollment, we recommend starting with at least two full days and gradually increasing to five days, allowing our teachers to truly get to know your child and support their learning consistently.

To keep you connected to your child's learning journey, we utilize an online portal called EDUCA. Through this platform, our teachers upload your child's learning stories directly to your phone or tablet, enabling you to provide comments and inspiration to further enhance their learning.

We also offer special offers from time to time, making our not-for-profit, community kindergarten accessible to more children. However, please note that spaces are limited, and these offers are only available for a limited time.
