Welcome to St Andrew's College Pre-school, a vibrant and nurturing learning environment located in Christchurch, New Zealand. At our establishment, we believe in acknowledging and celebrating the individuality of every child. Our dedicated teachers ensure that each child's curiosity and wonder are valued and nurtured.

Our Pre-school offers a bright and modern learning environment where children are encouraged to freely explore their individual interests with support and encouragement. Our biggest asset is our warm and friendly team of fully registered teachers who genuinely love the children and are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to thrive.

In 2018, we opened a brand new Pre-school with bespoke playgrounds. Our vibrant classroom area serves as a colorful backdrop for inquiry-based learning, imaginative play, and creative pursuits. We also encourage a love for the natural world, fostering a sense of care for plants and animals through activities such as maintaining a vegetable garden, observing the life cycles of butterflies and frogs, and caring for tropical fish. This helps children discover more about themselves and develop their sense of Wairua, or spirit.

We work closely with the Preparatory School to develop our curriculum, share resources, and implement exciting transition to school initiatives. Our extension room, equipped with Montessori resources, enhances numeracy and literacy skills.

At St Andrew's College Pre-school, we accept children aged from two years and offer 20 hours of ECE funding. Our location within the St Andrew's College grounds on Normans Road off Papanui Road makes us easily accessible. We operate from 8.00am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, and continue to operate during school holidays. We offer session-based places for children aged from two years.
