"I have been a regular at this place for over a decade. Today was the worst experience ever. I was served first by a lady E asked for my warranty and she organised it promptly, who was nice and polite and got the battery test organised. I was on crutches(broken heel). Came out with another employee Amrinder. We popped the hood and asked him to do the test. Inspite of seeing me on crutches claimed that he did not know how to raise up the hood. We did lift up the hood, be grudgingly he did the test made a face and took me inside. Asked me for a reciept I said I didnt have it then he tried to bring up the reciept. I had to call the other store (Berrimah). When I did that he conveniently found my reciept. He then went on to inform me that he cannot do a swap over as they didnt have staff. I asked if I could take the battery with me and bring the broken one back. He called the manager (Asad) the manager looked and sounded as if he was doing me a favour by replacing my battery which was under warranty. Somehow he insisted that I bring the battery inside the store completly ignoring the obvious fact that I was on crutches. He wanted me to collect the tools from inside the shop and take them out disconnect the battery and hand it to him. Anyways Supercheap Auto staff made a handicapped man get in and get out of their store more that 6 times (check cctvs). Empathy is something which Supercheap Auto is supercheap on. The manager's agression about the whole situation was totally unwarranted. When I asked for the new warranty papers Amrinder did not like it nor did the manager. Finally when i did recieve the reciept, I was reading it Amrinder flips the page without even taking permission, when I told him that it was rude, he said thank you. Strange very strange experience. I hope Supercheap auto realises that claiming a warranty is not a sin. Dont sell it if you cant handle it. As a cutomer for more than a decade, this was the worst experience ever, just scares me to think how supercheap auto delas with disabled customers.
