Hi there! I'm Susy, the Centre Manager at Goodstart Early Learning Shell Cove. With a Diploma in Children's Services and over 15 years of experience in the early learning industry, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering environment for both my team and the children in our care.

My management philosophy revolves around fostering collaboration, growth, and excellence. I believe in leading by example and promoting open communication, trust, and respect among team members. I value the unique strengths and contributions of each individual on my team and provide guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.

In terms of education philosophy, I believe in creating an inclusive learning environment that nurtures every child's holistic development. I combine play-based learning with intentional teaching strategies tailored to meet individual needs within diverse group settings. Respecting each child as an individual learner is fundamental, and I aim to understand their unique interests and abilities so that I can tailor instruction accordingly.

Collaboration between educators and families also plays a vital role in our approach. Involving parents/guardians as partners helps create continuity between home and center environments, supporting children's overall development holistically.
