Situated amidst the breathtaking beauty of Yengo National Park, Noonaweena provides exquisite views of the valleys below. This exclusive 100-acre property is conveniently located just one hour north of Sydney, making it an ideal venue for weekend weddings, executive retreats, boutique conferences, small group retreats, family getaways, and romantic couple stays.

As a boutique conference center on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Noonaweena offers a unique and inspiring setting for your business events. Our facilities are designed to enhance productivity and creativity, while the serene natural surroundings provide a peaceful atmosphere for focused discussions and team-building activities.
At Noonaweena, we are committed to sustainability and supporting the local community. We prioritize buying local and organic produce, reducing food miles and supporting sustainable farming practices. Our extensive solar panels significantly reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions, allowing us to power part of the facility through renewable energy sources.
We are passionate about beekeeping and have our own beehives on-site. Our Noona Raw Honey, produced by our bees, is available for purchase at our reception. By promoting beekeeping, we contribute to the sustainability of our food system, as bees play a crucial role in pollinating crops.
To minimize our environmental impact, we have implemented various initiatives. Our hot water systems are powered by solar energy, and fuel-efficient heat pumps and thermal covers are used for the outdoor spas to reduce energy consumption. We also have a self-sufficient water supply sourced from rain catchments, natural springs, water tanks, and bore water systems.
In our commitment to waste reduction, we compost our green waste on-site and use it as nutritious mulch for our gardens. Our chickens benefit from the scraps and provide guests with fresh eggs. Recycling bins are available in all lodges, allowing us to give plastic bottles, cardboard, and aluminum cans a chance to be transformed into something new.
Our septic system treats domestic wastewater in an underground tank, ensuring its purity and allowing grey water to be reused for ornamental gardens. This sustainable approach reflects our respect for the environment and our dedication to responsible tourism.
The name "Noonaweena" pays homage to the traditional custodians of the land, the Darkinjung Aboriginal people. It translates to "resting place in the bush," capturing the essence of this sacred land. As you gaze upon the majestic Blue Mountains heritage area, you'll feel a spiritual connection to the land, an experience we aim to share with our guests.
Noonaweena's commitment to sustainability has been recognized with Ecotourism Certification by Ecotourism Australia, the national body for Australia's ecotourism industry. Additionally, we have achieved Platinum Green Leader status with Trip Advisor in 2017. These accolades reflect our dedication to environmentally sustainable and culturally responsible tourism.

"What a hidden gem! We took our staff away on a retreat to Noonaweena. The location was absolutely stunning. The staff were friendly and helpful; nothing was too challenging to accomodate. Being a large group, we were the only people there and it had such a calm and serene feeling - definite retreat vibes despite the fact that it was a working retreat. We had a fantastic time, the staff can't stop raving about it and would have gladly stayed for additional nights. They are already talking about when we can come back again!"
"My partner and I just spent the weekend in this amazing place. It was all we needed to unwind. Adam went above and beyond with a big smile in his face. When we go to our cottage the music, the smell, the deco everything was just out of this word. 1.2h from Sydney but felt like somewhere else. Privacy, care, nature. We have no words to describe. We want to personally thank Adam, he’s certainly the biggest part on all of it. Will be going back for sure!"
"You can't get a more breathtaking place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty. We went away with 20 others for a weekend of relaxation, fun and celebration. Adam and the team made the whole experience seamless and nothing was too hard for them to do to make this weekend perfect. I can't fault this place. The memories will last a lifetime."
