At Alunga, our dedicated educators embrace the Circle of Security relationships model, fostering partnerships with children and families built on trust and respect. Our child care centre consists of two learning environments, catering to children aged birth to 3 years and 3-5 years. Our outdoor areas feature vegetable gardens, sandpits, an outdoor play kitchen, a water pump, and decked and undercover play areas, encouraging children to explore and engage with the natural environment. Our indoor and outdoor programs are carefully planned based on children's interests, strengths, and needs. We also have a fully equipped kitchen where nutritious meals are prepared daily, catering to specific dietary requirements when necessary.

At Alunga, we acknowledge families as children's first educators and strive to develop collaborative goals with families to promote children's learning and development. Our curriculum is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, which fosters holistic development in all areas based on our collaborative knowledge of each child. We also provide school readiness experiences for children who are about to transition to 'Big School'. To keep families informed, we share information about the children's daily experiences through our online program.

We believe in the importance of community engagement and provide valuable opportunities for children to interact with members of the local community. We have partnerships with the local nursing home, with regular visits, as well as the primary school, fostering a culture of inclusiveness, empathy, and respect.
