Reviews
"Evolution Apartments were very roomy. They have amazing view of the Brisbane river across to South Bank. Short walk to South Bank or the Malls. Only thing that we didn't like was the road noise."
"Great location and good price, however this is not 4 star hotel. The hotel had a water issue and no one seemed to know what the problem was or if it was resolved, when I asked about it, I got rude responses and “should be” responses. If there is a major issue in the hotel then the manager should be updating his staff and I should not be made to be a problem when asking about it, especially when the water goes off when your in the shower, no empathy or sincerity in the situation I get it these things occur, but the staff need to train up on customer service and team communication"
"Terrible sound proofing. Really noisy rooms. Got allocated to a room near the lift. The noise from the lift is so loud and constant. Noise from rooms next door can be heard in the bedroom. Loud water flow noise from pipes.. Unable to sleep properly three nights there. No much service. Only check in and check out. Room is spacious with all the basic amenities. There is a pool, gym and BBQ area. On the top floor, there is a kitchen and common space. One room apartment has a kitchen and laundry. Most things look a bit dated. Dirty and dusty room. The room I stayed in had a used condom on the close rack. Disgusting. Only got booked here through work agency. Definitely will avoid here next time. Don't think it's worth paying the full price here."
"The apartment was nice but certainly not worth the $600/night I paid for. The service was okay but the front desk workers seemed irritated like they didn't want to be there. Also, the parking should have been included in the amount I paid but instead its $40/night (taken out of the bond). The bathroom was tiny and hard to move around in. All of the kitchen cutlery was dusty and kinda gross to use, but we were supplied some cleaning products at least. On the plus side, the view was nice. One room had immediate access to the balcony which was pretty, since that room also had a big window straight across the Brisbane River. The other room was larger with a office desk & chair, and had a personal TV. The TVs also had free YouTube access. I would have been content if the room was roughly $350/night at most, but for the amount I paid I genuinely thought it would have been better. I think much of the cost went to the access of the 'sky lounge' and 'spa area', which are all quite boring and aren't very roomy."
"The rooms were great with views of Southbank. Nice and close to Queen Street Mall (500m). Close to Roma Station (500m). Very tidy and the staff were friendly. If there was any negative, it was the second bathroom. While it was clean, the shower was tight and the shower head had no pressure. We also ran out of hot water the next morning. Other than that, I totally recommend the location and apartments."
