"Excellent service from all staff especially Jessa ( hope that’s correct) checked us in and was really lovely, efficient, friendly and helpful. Brendan you and your co-workers and all breakfast staff do a great job in the restaurant. All so attentive, also Jordan so nice and friendly and a great barista. The hotel is in a fantastic position, neat and clean. Hoping to return next year...Rose and Paul Newman"

"A very solid 3 or 4 star hotel located in the heart of the city near the mall. The service is very good and all the staff are attentive and professional. The rooms are smallish but modern and clean with good lighting. Noise can be a problem being so close to the street and the doors are a bit thin. Good water pressure and nice showers. The fitness centre was a bit small too and very dark lighting in the evening made it only really useable during daylight hours. Drop off and taxis via a little side street. Would recommend a stay here despite its little quirks."

"Last minute night stay with my daughter last night. Room was comfortable and we liked the convenience of the mall below. I had Valet parking. Bit tricky finding the place, but easy one there. I'd like to acknowledge Tommy... my car was having issues unlocking upon check out today and it was quite busy. Tommy was very patient and kind towards me while I tried getting it sorted. Appreciate your efforts Tommy!!"

"Great location and generously sized / well-appointed rooms. Breakfast reasonable. Main drawbacks: soft bed with even softer pillows and a fitness room where none of the cardio machines were working (they relied on touch sensitive screens that weren't working). Not sure what the point is of having an app promising online check-in when you still have to check-in again on arrival."

"I'm sharing my thoughts on my experience up to this point, which includes day three out of seven. My stay at this hotel has been disappointing!! While some staff members were helpful, others were disinterested and unhelpful. The lack of information regarding the hotel facilities and trading hours during check-in was surprising, and when I called to inquire, staff members frequently responded with "it's a good question" to even simple inquiries!! The blankets in my room had a musty smell, as it had stayed wet for too long. Despite multiple requests for an additional blanket as I wasn't feeling well and felt cold, they sent us a mattress protector instead of a blanket, as apparently there wasn't even one extra blanket available in the whole hotel!!!!!!! My partner and I required an extra desk and chair as we were planning to work from our room for a week, but despite several requests, we received no communication regarding availability. Shockingly, we were informed that there were no chairs and tables available in the entire hotel for us to use!! When I inquired about places to visit on our way to Gold Coast and Byron Bay, the front desk team had no information available!! On the positive side, the location of the hotel is superb if you want to be in the middle of the city, and the swimming pool is good. Regarding parking, there was no parking available at the hotel during our stay. We had to park at the nearby Myer parking, and each time we entered or exited the parking lot, we had to pay, which can add up quickly. The room service at this hotel is horrendous, indicating that no training has been provided. We were shocked when they took away our extra blanket without asking us, and they didn't even leave us with one towel!! Furthermore, they didn't change the bed sheet even though I noticed a night before that there was a bit of blood from my finger on the sheet which they didn't change. Is this really a 5-star hotel? The lack of attention to detail and basic amenities is disappointing. Also my husband found broken glass next to the pool, which was a concerning safety issue. Unfortunately, there was no one around to clean it, so he had to take the glass to reception and ask them to send someone to clean it. Overall, my experience at this hotel has been disappointing, and I'm not looking forward to the rest of my stay. The poor customer service, subpar accommodations, lack of helpful information, and unavailability of basic amenities were frustrating."
