Brisbane Skytower by CLLIX 222 Margaret Street, Brisbane City, Queensland 4000

"The accommodation is clean and at a very good location, but unfortunately my check in experience and the lack of sound proofing in the water pipes will not have me returning. I landed quite late in the evening and when I tried to check in at reception, a gentleman (did not get the name, as staff do not wear name badges) accused me of not having paid for the accommodation (it was with receipts to prove). After clicking around on the system he then corrected himself and said in fact he can see I have paid and it's a new system he is not use to it, but as he was doing that I was standing there with my phone upright against my wallet, to which I was then accused of "recording him". It was a really bizarre experience and definitely not pleasant and there was no apology from his end for throwing false accusations at a guest. The soundproofing is also terrible, so you will hear water run through your room all night when other residents use the bathroom. Although the apartment was clean and convenient, I don't recommend it."

"Middle of the city, carpets were looking a bit distressed otherwise the apartment was well appointed with great city views. While there, try the pool and gym on the upper level but can be cool in pool on cloudy days."

"I am glad I chose this place as this building is right in centre of Brisbane CBD which give us easy access to the places we wanted to visit 10/10. Services 10/10 as the host called in advance to make sure I get the services and the right apartment I have asked for. Totally impressed. Those who are looking to come by car parking is 35$ Per day. The only thing we didn’t like was mattress. Usually I am not so fussy about mattress. However, I and my partner both couldn’t sleep well. Also, Windows were locked so NO fresh air to the apartment. Overall, it was nice experience staying at Skytower. Hope to come back again Thanks Team Cllix Apartment was clean"

"I had a good stay in a clean room. It's located in the CBD, so it's very convenient. Upon check-in, the staff responded very kindly. I arrived early in the morning and left my luggage. I was impressed by the kindness of sending a message that the room was ready before check-in time. I had a good time in Brisbane thanks to this apartment. I requested twin beds. However, it was a pity that it was a double bed room."

"Please note. This venue is not a hotel, but a managed mixture of random owner units rented out for short and long term. There doesn't appear to have any consistency of quality. Very disappointing. The room we had was cheap! The furniture cheao, especially the lounge which needed replacing. The floor and rug was filthy, needed steam cleaning and the rug replacing. Getting to the car park for the first time is a challenge. The inside the car park is full of owner storage cages full of unwanted stuff, and good luck finding a car space amongst all the owners and renters. Something good: we were in level 54 facing the Brisbane river. Now, that's a view, let alone is you get a higher floor up to 70+. Sorry this is my first review that I cannot recommend the property... sad."
