"Do not believe the hype! The customer service of this company is absolutely zero. We bought a Reo 2.5 seater sofa and paid around $4800 which was delivered around April 2022. On installation there was a faulty motor which was replaced fairly quickly. Then the side tables, back support and another motor required replacement. Fast forward to November - December 2022 with absolutely zero communication apart from automated responses assuring our service request has been received and will be attended to. Now at 03 January 2023 I emailed demanding a refund stating ACCC guidelines that the product could not be repaired in a timely manner...... still no response. 25/1/23 I enter the Fyshwick store where I purchased asking for an update. Salman at the Fyshwick store looked up the file and everything was logged - even emails that I sent that were never replied to strangely - said he escalated it but the appropriate person was on leave until 30/1 so I said I will be back 07/02 to check. Feb 07 I returned where Salman again escalated the claim and emailed via Teams (he did not have a phone number he could call to check). It was only when I threatened to return the sofa to the outside of the store and sit on it every weekend and explain to the incoming customers the terrible service that I received the ok to refund was received the day after. Refund received around 2 weeks later. I agree lockdowns would have impacted some parts supply but the absolute disregard for customer service is astonishing. Do not believe the sleek ads, shiny showrooms and the expectation there is no better than King, it is absolutely the opposite. I will also expect a fluffy response to this review as they do with every other one stating they strive to do their best with exceptional customer service but King, case number 142634-CAN22010461 will demonstrate how badly you have failed in this instance. Never again!"

"Purchased 2 sofas and an occasional chair, the chair was not upholstered well, leaving puckering on the arm, the customer service was terrible, difficulty contacting anyone by email or phone, eventually I accepted a 10% reduction to be refunded, but I was unable to get the refund processed as no-one would take my credit card details over the phone, and they stopped replying to emails. I attended the Canberra store and was told to wait and they would be in touch, no response again, phoned and emailed the contact at the store and again no response. King consider themselves a premium furniture provider however their customer service is appalling. I will certainly not use them again."

"I found the customer service from the Canberra store terrible and responses quite passive aggressive Couch was delivered with filthy seat cushions. It has been a month and the couch is still unusable. Support staff very unwilling to assist! Nice products and sales process but now have a very expensive dirty couch which we can't use. Do not recommend!"

"We have bought a number of expensive items from King Living. They look beautiful in the store and the purchasing experience is very straightforward and positive. However, a number of items have been delivered faulty or damaged. The process for getting these replaced or fixed is really poor. It has taken ~7-10 months each time (and counting for some things). It has involved several emails and phone calls to the service team who seem to always be unaware where things are up to and what is causing delay. Calls result in only the most incremental progress. Emails are rarely answered and the responses are not very helpful when they are received. It is not what you expect for the premium price paid. Really disappointing and frustrating. We won’t be buying from them again."
