"We could not recommend Paradise Island Resort enough! They are our first preference when booking our technicians in for work trips. Their level of customer services is outstanding! Always easy to chat to and to book with. They are very supportive, and accommodating should we ever need to make any changes. Their rooms are comfortable, clean and a great location. Thanks for all your great work! We will see you again soon! ~ QPP National."
"Firstly let me say the gentleman on the reception desk is an asset to the Hotel industry. The Manager was responsive to our complaints. As stated by other reviewer the carpets were stained as for cleaning in short all 3 rooms we had were dirty dusty and our room had mould on the curtains the air ducts were clogged with dust and fine fibres, dust on all trim and door frames. The sheets and bedding and towels were ok but don't get changed unless you request it and there is an additional cost charged to you. The upkeep off the grounds leaves a lot to be desired mould on many surfaces along with garden debris just thrown against the back fence. Veeandah unsweept with mould growing. Many trees and palms need to have dead foliage removed and many garden beds are at best described poorly kept and cleaned. The use of spray weed killer almost made me leave immediately as if Roundup used its been linked to heath issues. Now back to room maintenance Sliding door locks were damaged or none functioning the toilet door was hanging at an angle the person assigned to repair this removed the lock (Not the problem) I had to show The second Handyman how to fix it truly amateur. There were problems with the spa needed heater fixed then it had no bubbles I could go on and on The FOB security tags can easily be copied by $10 devices from online stores if that person has lock picking ability or a master key that person gets access every room giving me no confidence in site security We sunk into the lounge it hurt my damaged spine. The legs on the main dinning table, the screws were just slide in holes I had to ask management for a Allen key to tighten so it would not collapse. The side table the legs were also lose. The dryer air outlet sprayed lint all over the bathroom and our towels and personnel items. There were numerous other complaints from my son's and there partners from there rooms. All up I wouldn't allow my pet rat stay there he's cleaner than some parts off this accommodation .."
"Look for somewhere else. This place is absolutely disgusting and the staff don't do anything properly, they don't care about you. The rooms and facilities are old and dirty, no real cleaning or effort has been done at all. Nothing is clean here. They just use fragrant spray in the building to cover all this. The staff are lazy, rude and unhelpful. Don't expect they will help you. Overall very low quality."
"Ageing property. Could really do with being renovated. The three stars is for the amazing pool area. The bed was comfortable and the location is good but aesthetically, it doesn’t really feel like a hotel, more like an old people’s home. As a result I wouldn’t stay here again. Other guests have also shared that their beds were extremely uncomfortable so maybe I got lucky. Wifi was unusable, so I relied on using my phone data. From a cyber security perspective, it’s not worth using hotel wifi anyway. There was a lack of plug sockets in the room and the smoke detector was falling off the wall. No housekeeping was also disappointing. There’s plenty of other newer properties in Surfers Paradise that I’d suggest. Though I absolutely acknowledge that hotel prices have skyrocketed here post Covid."
"Great views, however the room I stayed was just to unsatisfactory, walls and carpet are stained, yes the cleaning was done evidently and towels and bed sheets were clean. But really, more effort is required for the walls and carpet. Other than check in was relatively good, staff ok overall."
