"Very nice hotel, it is on good location in Surfers Paradise. Beach, shopping stores, bus stations are nearby. Rooms in the hotel are really big and nice, we had two bedrooms, one toilet, two bathrooms, one living room with dining room and one kitchen equipped with everything you need. View from the terrace was wonderful view on the sea. The hotel also has a swimming pool, but I didn’t have an opportunity to use it because I went there in winter, and it has like a small gym but without any equipment, just tartan track on the floor. Pretty and comfortable. Also the staff is really friendly. Would recommend."

"Great location, big rooms and lots of space. Great views of the Nerang river, walking distance to Coles, cafes, restaurants and the beach but ocean views are not great. We were at level 19 but we can still hear traffic noise from the balcony. There is nothing 'Luxurious' about this high rise apartments. In fact the fittings are quite old and dated. The manager George wasn't as bad as some people have experienced. I tried to avoid him most of the time during our 7 night stay before x-mas but on the day of departure, our flight was delayed and I asked him if we could check out later than usual 10 am.. He was very good about it and let us stay extra 2 hours during this busy period without any charge.."

"DO NOT GO HERE! Like Guy said in the previous review the management/manager ruined the perfect vacation for us. If you are going to manage an apartment building in Surfers Paradise, you should at least be polite to the visitors paying to stay in their building. Hiring a rude manager is not a smart idea!! The lobby constantly smelt of cigarettes and the manager always smelt like alcohol. Absolutely horrible place, FIND ANOTHER APARTMENT WHERE YOU WILL FIND GOOD SERVICE UNLIKE THE SERVICE AT WATERWAYS APARTMENT!!!!!"

"My entire experience of Surfers Paradise on a beautiful easter long weekend was all but destroyed by the management attitude and conduct. We were treated so poorly that i would recommend to any person i know to steer clear of the Waterways apartments. Everything was a problem for what seemed a completely normal situation. Even when it came time to pay for our accommodation they could not use their own machine. We were told it was against the law for more that 4 people to stay in a 2 bedroom apartment and were asked to leave when it clearly states that guests can use the sofa beds provided at the fee that we paid for. They were perfectly happy for us to search for a $300+ unit when it was $35 each to stay with our friends in this apartment. Further more as we had booked 2 2 bedroom apartments we had 2 undercover/secure parking positions available. This facility also has visitor parking. We were meet with more DRAMA and our friends who had paid and booked their room were told they were not allowed to park on site as we had 3 cars already. I then asked why do you have visitors parking? They advised me it was only for tenants. No where does it state that the packing was for tenants only. Further to this argument it say in the guest information book that the parking is there for your guests. I wished to raised my concerns with them in the morning to which i was spoken over the top of and told to leave the premises. Do yourself a favour and find cheaper accommodation where you money is appreciated elsewhere"
