"Kurth Kiln is a lovely camp site, but the roads in the area have lots of pot holes, and most of the camp area have had their camp fire pits stolen. Overall it is a lovely place to go camping"
"Beautiful area to go for a walk and have a picnic afterwards"
"Nice place to visit, and so close to Melbourne. Drop toilets provided in camping area and were clean at the time I visited (bring your own Bog Roll just in case the supplied toilet paper has ran out). Camping spots are a but muddy in the wetter months, but that is to be expected, they did however provided some awesome entertainment for the kids with excellent muddy puddles to play in. Highly recommend for a quick Camping getaway. Place to park your horse float and tie up your horse for the night are also provided."
"A very pleasant and historically significant location, with picturesque surrounding forest and walking tracks. The kiln's history is well elaborated on the signage. It has a picnic area and a babbling brook. I 'kurthed' myself for not visiting this place years ago :)"
"Well worth the trip. The actual kiln and caretakers cottage are amazing. Beautiful surroundings."
