"On the way between West and East, great looking food, better tasting, and deserves more business! Typical pricing for todays economy at $22-$25 per brunch, and definitely will be top 20 once I come back again! (Only get on my "list" after two eats)."
"Came here for breakfast. The flat white was done to perfection and prana chai was a little light to our liking. It’s good but could be better. Our orders took a while to come out, nearly 30 minutes of the waiting and when it did, the food was cold. The morning coffee rush was over so we didn’t understand the wait. I ordered the Mexican Chilli, it was bland and the taste of chilli was so mild. No zing to it. Wife enjoyed the salmon Benedict despite it being cold. Food was very well presented and well portioned. I’d come back for the coffee. I got a brownie for a honest feedback to the waitress which they could have apologised when they brought the food. A nice gesture never the less. 5.5/10"
"Visited Pepperstone Cafe for the first time this week - I'm kicking myself for having lived in the area for a whlie but not having checked it out sooner! Beautiful little cafe, peaceful and calm with a very welcoming and cheerful team. I started with the dandelion and turmeric latte because I always like to try something different; not sure I could taste the dandelion but the flavour was excellent and well-balanced. For a very late breakfast/brunch I ordered the French toast and a side of the Kaarage chicken with aioli (ordering when very hungry is a dangerous thing!). I usually avoid things like French toast as they can be quite sickly sweet but Pepperstone has the syrup on the side and only lightly pre-flavours the dish. Excellent flavour and the poached pear was a beautiful texture and made for really enjoyable meal. The kaarage chicken was a perfect contrast - hot, crisp and a good savoury balance. Needles to say, I ate everything and was a bit sad (but very full) that that was all. Price was very afffordable for all that I ordered and I would definitely be happy to come back on more regular basis."
