"I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but I couldn't resist writing one after being so impressed by this hotel. The location is perfect, within a 5-minute walk to anywhere in the city. The warm welcome at check-in was greatly appreciated, and all the front desk staff were friendly and helpful for any stupid question. The room was not only clean, but the bed was also very comfortable. The Premier room I stayed in had large windows and was spacious. Despite not being a serviced apartment, basic kitchenette were provided, which would be great for longer stays. The sauna and pool were as expected - spacious and clean, perfect for spending time after dinner. The inclusion of complimentary laundry facilities in the common area left a strong impression. It was a shame that I could only stay for a day, as it was such a comfortable and perfect stay. Among the various hotel brands I've stayed at within Australia, this was the most satisfying place in every aspect. Whenever I visit Brisbane, I will definitely stay at Capri again, and I will surely recommend this hotel to friends visiting Brisbane."
"Stayed here for 4 days. Location it’s great, there was a lot of construction around but that is not the fault of the hotel as there was a lot of construction around the city in general. Rooms were on the small size but the bed was comfy. Room and restroom was clean, although I did find a bobby-pin just on the edge of the shower, but everything else seem cleaned. Walking distance to all the stores, restaurants, bus stops, and Central station. Staff was friendly and professional, the guy that helped check us in even offered to provide tips on where to go. Would stay here again."
"Excellent stay at Capri! We stayed here for 5 nights at the one bedroom executive room and it was all pleasant. Great size room, nice and clean, and the location was perfect (right in the middle of the city). Service was pretty good, not a lot of interaction with the staff, but all interaction we had was good :) Would most definitely stay here again. Highly recommend *only one night where the cleaning was not good, but all 4 other nights were done great"
"Absolutely terrible service. Other than location, do not recommend. I do not understand why we were discriminated against, but this hotel should decide what its policy is about delivery food. While I was standing in line to check in, I observed a delivery man (on a bike) who arrived with a guest’s food delivery. He stood behind me in line. For some reason, he was attended to first, before me. I was not acknowledged at all. I let that go, whatever. The employee then called the guest, and said they would bring the food up and leave it outside their room door for them. No problem. Fast forward to the following day, when I ordered delivery food. I wasn’t feeling well so asked for my delivery to be brought to my room. However, when I called down to ask about it (because my food had been delivered and was sitting there) they said that can’t be done. I explained that there are no robes in the room and I was feeling unwell, and yesterday I saw this was done for another guest, and the woman said in an angry tone “I don’t know what that was about but we don’t do that” and hung up on me. I do not know why I was not afforded the same service as the other guests. It is my strong view that the lady who worked at front desk on Saturday 8 July around midday should definitely not have a customer-facing job until she receives some sort of training in customer service. On our last day we asked for a slightly later checkout and it was a flat “no”. No reason or explanation given. This was a first for me… even the busiest of hotels I have stayed in have been able to offer even an extra half hour. I have literally never experienced customer service this bad before. Needless to say, I will never give this place my money again. We are Fraser Hospitality members and booked directly, as often direct bookings attract better service. We will be canceling our membership, would never stay there again."
"Stayed at the Capri for one night on business; really nice hotel with modern fit out! I checked in late and was out early, so I unfortunately didn’t get to check out the broader hotel facilities. That said, the roof was clean and modern. The bed was comfy and I crashed out! Room was also the perfect temperature as well, didn’t wake up feeling dehydrated. Showers and amenities were all tidy and function. They have one of those rain showers as well which is nice! Only downside for me was the towels in the bathroom were frayed. I have included a photo. It’s a small thing but a little bit of a letdown. Anyways, I would happily stay here again, it was a good room."
