"After hearing all sorts of views on Mercy maternity (and RCH, Sunshine etc.) we took a leap of faith to enrol our first baby’s delivery at Mercy. Best decision ever! The entire experience was phenomenal and most memorable. Pregnancy and delivery are extremely emotional and challenging phase for the mother but when you have such a great service wrapped around you, you feel blessed. And the midwives – they were angels. I have rarely seen patience and kindness in so many people. During our 70 hours stay, we were served by more than 10 midwives over different shifts. I still can’t believe that each one of them were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I saw true compassion in their actions – who would stand for 30 mins guiding mother during feedings or clean the blood stains off someone else’s slippers. Thanks to the Mercy midwives, doctors and all the specialists, our baby’s arrival was the most pleasant experience we could have ever wished for."
