"My partner went to this shop last night ( Christmas Eve ) , she was really disappointed in the service she received from the older staff member at the desk, admittedly she was leaving it last minute but with 7 minutes before closing time she was after a quick quilt set purchase for her dad for Christmas, the young lady working was super polite and helpful and allowed her to come in to only be told by the older lady at the desk that she had to leave as they had families they wanted to go home too, she was gob smacked by the attitude and lack of customer service. She left the store with 5 minutes before closing, the young staff member super apologetic about the situation. Completely understood it was Christmas Eve but with 5 minutes to spare hoping to get a quick gift. Wouldn’t be having a lady like that serving customers at a store!"
"What an extremely pleasant shopping experience I had on my 2 recent visits. Mel and Jo were extremely friendly and helpful. Such a change to be acknowledged waiting in a queue with an "I'm sorry to keep you waiting". No problem for them to check "out the back" for extra stock which meant I spent more. I'll definitely shop there again. Very refreshing to have such good service."
"Most awful lack of customer service I have ever experienced. As we were asking a young and reasonably helpful staffer a quick question about a specific type of linen, another older staffer woman (happy to provide her name to Adairs Hr upon request) just rudely barged mid our conversation and started barking at us in a most hostile manner and requested that we leave the building as they were closing. I am absolutely shocked and dismayed and needless to say, will not be back. Do not shop here if you value respectful customer service. There are plenty of competing businesses in the area whose staff are courteous and polite."
